Butyl Rubber - IIR
Butyl rubber, sometimes just called "butyl", is a synthetic rubber, a copolymer of isobutylene with isoprene. Butyl rubber shows good heat and ozone resistance and impermeability to gases.
Applications:
Inner tubes for tires, Tire curing bladders, Inner tube valves, Pharmaceutical closures, Sport ball bladders.
